A foundation for university, technology and work
Eleven connected learning areas. One practical journey.
The University Readiness and AI Technology Foundation Programme brings academic preparation and technical capability into one coherent pathway. Every course has ordered modules, facilitator-led releases, monitored engagement, assessments and opportunities to apply learning through practical work.
01
Academic and digital foundations
Learners begin with the habits and concepts required to work confidently at university and in technology-enabled environments.
- University Readiness and Study Skills
- Mathematics for AI and University
- Computer Fundamentals
- Programming Foundations with Python
- Data and Information Literacy
02
Artificial intelligence and intelligent systems
The technical sequence moves from core AI concepts into responsible applied practice. Learners explore machine learning, generative AI and robotics while keeping ethics, evidence and human judgment central.
- Artificial Intelligence Foundations
- Machine Learning with Python
- Generative AI and Prompt Engineering
- Robotics and Intelligent Systems
03
Research, innovation and professional practice
Technical ability becomes more valuable when learners can frame a problem, investigate evidence, collaborate and present a credible solution. Research and Innovation and Communication and Professional Skills complete the eleven-course foundation.
- Research methods and literature review
- Prototyping and entrepreneurship
- Professional writing and public speaking
- Teamwork, leadership and career readiness
04
How learning progresses
Students do not unlock the pathway by simply marking material as read. Facilitators guide progression, engagement time is recorded, module assessments are scored, and approved project evidence contributes to the learner record. Exact schedules, entry requirements and availability are confirmed during admissions.
